4 May Remembrance Day - Dodenherdenking

Due to the pandemic and crowd regulations, and due to poor Wifi connection, this year the memorial ceremony at Kranji War Cemetery in Singapore is recorded. Right after the ceremony on May 4th, at 8PM, the video goes live on YouTube, see our link above. 

During the service, four students read their own poem, followed by a speech by both H.E. Ambassador Margriet Vonno and HSL principal Meino Meines, the laying of two wreaths on behalf of the Embassy and ADB-DutchCham, the playing of the ‘taptoe’ and two minutes of silence. The ceremony is closed with our national anthem. After the ceremony, the students put flowers on the graves of fallen soldiers. See the official program below (in Dutch) .
