Dear Sir/Madam,

It is with great pleasure that we write this mail to you on the national day of the Netherlands: King’s Day. Today we celebrate His Majesty the King Willem-Alexander’s 54^th birthday. Normally this is a festive day, but due to the pandemic, this year we will celebrate King’s Day differently.

King’s Day is about celebrating, but also about expressing our gratitude to those people who have contributed to society. In the Netherlands, every year some of these dedicated people are awarded a special decoration by His Majesty the King Willem-Alexander. In line with this tradition, this week we feature, in a series of videos, a few remarkable people who embody the strong relationship between Singapore and the Netherlands.

A relationship that is long standing and successful in many fields, such as high tech innovation, digital & cyber, water management, circular economy, renewable energy, and urban development.
